During the summer months, Projects Abroad offers two-week programs designed to combine travel abroad with work experience or skill development. Programming blends instruction, hands-on and observational work, and weekend excursions as students immerse themselves in another culture. Each placement has a distinct focus: Topics addressed in a typical summer include childcare and community work, journalism, medicine, photography, language instruction, sports, conservation issues and veterinary medicine.
